  We had a very positive experience at this clinic. My daughter's fiancé had an ear infection and we needed to catch a flight in the afternoon. The receptionist was kind and gave us an accurate estimate of the waiting time. Doctor Rogoff was professional and treated us kindly. He prescribed treatment that we were able to conveniently pick up at the neighboring pharmacy. We are grateful that such medical care was readily available.

  My family has been using this clinic for over 20 years. They are open 7 days a week and yes they do close for lunch. We have trusted them with with our generations of great grandparents, siblings, cousins, children and now our first great grandchild, some with chronic health issues. We have never had any misdiagnoses and their long time staff is warm and caring. If you need critical emergency care between 1 and 2 pm, you should head to the ER.

  I would give Halelea Family Medicine 6 stars if I could. I have been vacationing to Kauai for 8 years now, and always feel relieved that there is such a wonderful health care provider on the North Shore. The office staff are warm, the clinic clean, and I've always been treated so wonderfully. The doctors remind me of what medicine should be like in this country. They don't rush you in and out of the room, but actually sit with you, listen to your concerns, and diagnose your ailments. I've gone in for stitches after cutting my foot on the reef as well as issues with a longterm illness that reared up while on vacation. It was a relief to be able to be seen, diagnosed, cared for, fixed up, and back on the beach without having to spend the entire day driving to the hospital on the other side of the island. I read the negative reviews and have to say I'm honestly shocked. It seems their only flaw is that they close for lunch. People in pain always feel it is their right to be seen immediately. And understandably so. However coming from a home where my own father was a doctor, there is always someone in pain, and never a moment to take a break.
